Couples Counselling
Every relationship — partners, family, friends, colleagues — goes through seasons of strain. With warmth and honesty, we can help you understand each other again.
You don't have to be in crisis to seek support for a relationship. Some couples come in because the same conversation keeps ending in the same fight. Some come in because they feel like roommates. Some come in during a big transition — a new baby, a job change, a loss. Some come in because they love each other and want to be proactive.
Who this is for
My couples work isn't only for romantic partners. I offer relationship counselling for any two people whose bond is worth investing in — spouses, adult family members, close friends, business partners, co-parents. Whatever the label, if the connection matters, it belongs here.
How we'll work together
Sessions are warm, structured, and grounded in ACT and person-centred approaches. The goal isn't to figure out who's right — it's to help both of you feel heard, understand the pattern that keeps repeating, and build a shared way forward. Together we might explore:
- Communication styles and the moments things break down
- The unspoken expectations and old stories each of you brings
- Repair — the practice of coming back after conflict
- Intimacy, connection, and rebuilding trust after a rupture
- Life transitions that have shifted the shape of the relationship
- How neurodivergence, culture, or family-of-origin patterns are playing out
You'll both be met with respect and curiosity. There are no sides in this room.
